Jenn's Journey to M.D. and Beyond.......

It all started in Framingham, MA where I was born...... wait .......you don't want to hear all that. So fast forward a few years. I was always talking about how I wanted to be a doctor and help people. Well, I figured "Hey, why not?" I've worked hard to get where I am now. If you are wondering where that is, I'll tell you. I have graduated from Framingham State College after five years and am awaiting my departure to ....... yup .... you guessed it ....... medical school! But not just any medical school. I will be heading to the tropical destination of St. Maarten to attend American University of the Caribbean!!!!!!!! I know......I'm lucky. And believe me I count those lucky stars every night! For those of you I am leaving behind in New England I have made this webpage as a way to share my experiences with you and for you to keep in touch with me (or keep tabs on me, which ever you prefer). I know that I will miss all of you while i'm gone, but it's only temporary. I think that I have been offered enough company to keep me occupied the whole time I am on the island but I will need time to study ........ you know med school and all. I won't be leaving until mid august so you still have time to celebrate with me before I leave! Before I get too long winded, I wanted to thank everyone that has supported me up to this point, especially my family and everyone at FSC. I wouldn't be here without you! (corny I know) See you in the funnies!!!

So I mentioned that I was headed to St. Maarten/St. Martin located in the Caribbean! The island is small, only 9-1/2 miles wide, and there are two sovereign governments that have coexisted for over 350 years, Dutch (Netherlands) and French. My school is located on the Dutch side.
